Reduce Eye Wrinkles in 60 days?

My thoughts on the Venus by EvenSkyn

Do you find it hard to tackle the area around our eyes that starts to show our age? The wrinkles, hooded eye lids, and puffiness….if so, this could be the device for you.

I used the Venus, a premium eyelid anti-aging device by EvenSkyn, for more than 60 days to see if it would improve my delicate eye area.

It’s designed to help with skin rejuvenation - lifting around the eyelids, smoothing of fine lines & wrinkles as well as de-puffing and reducing eye bags.

It makes use of four difference technologies:

- Thermal collagen stimulation

- Active ion uptake

- LED phototherapy

- Sonic massage

There are two primary modes of use:

1. Collagen Stimulation

  • Thermal stimulation encourages the skin cells to repair themselves

  • It heats up the skin to 42 degrees C (107.6 F) to promote regeneration

  • It also includes red LED phototherapy to rejuvenate skin cells

2. Nutrient Uptake

  • This allows deeper product penetration into the skin

  • It also includes blue light therapy to calm the skin

There is also an optional sonic massage function that can be used in both of the above modes. You merely touch your finger to the metal band and it activates.

It helps to:

  • Relax the muscles, which reduces the effects of wrinkles

  • Boots lymphatic drainage which helps reduce airbags caused by fluid retention

  • Increases blood circulation

Recommended Usage:

EvenSkyn recommend that any single session should not exceed 5-8 minutes. This includes both eyes.

If under the age of 40, 3-4 days per week is sufficient.  If over 40, 5 times per week is probably more suitable.

How I use it

I use the Venus every other day. It only takes 6 minutes - 3 on each eye – so it’s been very easy to add into my routine.

Straight out of the shower, onto clean skin:

  • I spritz my skin with toner/essence/mist

  • I apply an eye serum and use the Collagen Stimulation (red light) with Sonic Massage for 1 minute, in slow circles around the orbital bone.

  • After the first minute, I hold for 5-8 seconds on various parts of the eye area before moving to the next area.

  • After the next minute (it’s now been 2 minutes), I apply an eye cream, change over to Nutrient Update with Sonic Massage (blue light) and slowly move in circular motion around the orbital bone.

  • After 3 minutes, I do the other eye exactly the same way.

Bonus – You can use on your lips!

What I see from these photos is healthier skin. Yes, the wrinkles are slightly reduced but what I really see is the texture change. It’s plumper and just looks smoother. This makes Mary very happy.

Personally, I love this little guy. It’s small, lightweight and easy to use. But even more than that, I find it relaxing and I just enjoy using it. It’s warm, products are penetrating better and my eye areas just feel pampered.

I liked it so much I gave one away to celebrate hitting 5K subscribers on YouTube!
